NATIONAL CATHOLIC YOUTH CONFERENCE
November 8-11, 2007

On November 8-11, 2007, around 25,000 teens will gather in Columbus, Ohio for the National Catholic Youth Conference. The theme for this Year's NCYC is "Discover the Way".

Who is it for?
     Catholic Teenagers (those in grades 9-12 during the 2007-2008 school-year).
What does it cost?
     $450.00 - includes registration, transportation, hotel, and a t-shirt.
How do I register?
     Fill out this form and return it to the contact person at your church. Deposit of $100.00 must also accompany this form.
What happens at NCYC?
     Over 25,000 Catholic teens from across the United States gather and celebrate their faith through song, story, humor, and liturgy.
Why would I want to go this year?
     NCYC only happens every other year. If you miss this opportunity, your next chance will not be until 2009!

THE DETAILS…
The actual NCYC will take place at the Nationwide Arena and Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, OH. Transportation will be by Motor Coach. The cost breaks down as follows:
( Meals are not included - youth will need to bring money with them for meals ) Also note that once we have our assigned hotel and know exactly how many are traveling I may be able to adjust these figures down.)

TO SIGN UP FOR NCYC…
Talk to the teens from your parish. For help in promoting this to your teens, check out the NCYC website (www.nfcym.org/ncyc). The event will require (1) Chaperone for every (5) youth that attend. The $100.00 registration fee we are collecting is for the Motor Coach and Hotel deposits. This is due to the Diocese by February 8th, 2007. There will be a more thorough registration packet sent to you in the spring.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU…
At the time you send your check in to the Diocese on February 8th, 2007 we only need the number of youth and number of adult spaces you are requesting. (Names are not required so you may book additional spaces even if you don't have particular youth committed at this time.)
