God's Plan for a Joy-filled Marriage
The Diocese of Madison is expanding its program of marriage preparation to help couples better
understand "God's Plan for a Joy-filled Marriage."
(Click here for more on the diocesan program for marriage preparation.)
To get things rolling, the OEC is hosting in-depth training on a program titled just that.
This weekend-long training session, held June 22-24 at the Bishop O'Connor Center in Madison,
will prepare participants to present this program on the Theology of the Body,
God's great gift of our sexuality, and his plans for joy-filled marriages.
Please help us identify and invite appropriate couples willing to invest themselves in this worthy and
rewarding apostolate. Any person or couple interested in committing themselves to this part of our diocesan
marriage preparation ministry should attend this training program.
The diocese will cover the cost of this training, including materials, food and lodging.
(We're looking for a couple of generous donors to help underwrite this program.
Contact Andy if you can help.)
Please note that this is in-depth training to prepare people to present God's Plan
to engaged couples. Interested parties should already have a moderate working knowledge of the Theology of the Body,
which can be acquired via the
"Introduction to the Theology of the Body" workshop
on June 2 or through video and audio resources available from the Office of Evangelization and Catechesis.
